U.S. economy continues to maintain a strong pace of job growth heading into 2023. With a tight labor market spurring competition for workers at all levels and from all industries, the number of job postings remains above 10 million. The unemployment rate for the Chicago metro area is 4.7 and is still higher than the national rate of 3.6%.

Organizations are scrambling to fill open jobs due to the lack of qualified, available and motivated workers. Some are having to alter their goals because they can’t get the right people. This has a direct impact on the goods and services they can produce.

HR practitioners are  in the forefront in resolving these complex problems, such as.

    • Why are there fewer people in the market?
    • Why are we having so much trouble finding and retaining talent?
    • What strategies and methods can we employ to fill the gaps?

In this dynamic, interactive session, Paul LaLonde, VP People and Culture at CEDA, and Luke Majkut, Principal Partner at Rosso Recruiting, will share with us their expertise in putting together a viable recruiting strategy and developing a comprehensive recruiting plan.

Participants will be able to share their expertise with each other in interactive discussion groups.
