    The SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge states that the first step in the Strategic Planning and Management Process is the gathering and analyzing information to determine current position.

    Whether just starting out or a veteran, taking time to evaluate HR’s critical activities can be useful to identify/fix gaps in your HR program. This process can ensure you are supporting the goals and objectives of the organization.

    The purpose of this session is to provide the attendee with a checklist of items to consider in determining your current state and what areas need improvement.

    This presentation will also include breakout discussion groups with fellow HR Practitioners to discuss and record their comments and questions regarding this self-assessment and then share them with the overall group.
