2018 SHRM Conference Volunteer Information

    Dear HR Professional:

    CHICAGO SHRM is excited to have the opportunity to host the SHRM conference this year.

    If you live in Illinois and have not yet volunteered for the SHRM 2018 Annual Conference & Exposition, which is scheduled on June 17 - 20, 2018, but are interested in doing so, please complete an online profile now. You will not be officially signed up to volunteer until you complete these additional steps, including creating your online profile and later, selecting your shift(s).

    Volunteering is a three-step process: (see shrmvolunteers.com home page for a slide show on the process)

    1. Fill out and submit our Volunteer Application
    2. Self-schedule your shift(s) once your Application is approved and processed
    3. Download and submit your Volunteer Conference Registration Form to SHRM (links and instructions will be sent to you once your Application has been processed)
       

    STEP 1:

    1. Create your Volunteer Profile to "officially" apply to be a Volunteer by visiting:https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=43538559
    2.  Write down your username and password for your records to ensure you have easy access to review information and complete additional steps.
    3. Bookmark http://www.shrmvolunteers.com to find the latest information regarding conference Volunteer FAQs and information.
    4. Be sure to put shrmvolunteers@nthdegreegroup.net and mailer@volgistics.com in your "safe senders" e-mail list to ensure you receive all conference volunteer information and messages. If your e-mail filter allows, indicate acceptance for mail from any address from these two domains: nthdegreegroup.net and volgistics.com. If we find that our e-mails to you are not being delivered, you may be removed from the Volunteer list.


    What's Next:

    Once your application has been processed (typically within 1-2 business days after receipt), you will be able to schedule your desired shifts online and complete the sign-up process by downloading and submitting the Volunteer Registration Form. Links and instructions will be included in the "Your Application was Processed" e-mail.

    For every shift worked, Volunteers receive one (1) free conference day or a huge discount on a full conference registration.. More details are available in the online Volunteer Application (see link above) and in the FAQs section on the Volunteer Website (www.shrmvolunteers.com).
