With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us have experienced a lack of energy, lower job satisfaction and perhaps being irritable. People who work in Human Resources have multiple demands placed on their time and energy by their roles as supportive professionals. This crisis has added another layer of stress given the prospect of keeping the organization viable and the employees healthy (and in some cases alive).

This interactive session will address the topic of burnout as a work-related stress and its impact on psychological and physical health. We will look at both the causes of burnout and effective reduction strategies. The session will also provide resources for further research.

Dr. Donna Marino (https://www.drdonnamarino.com) is a psychologist and executive coach.
