OSHA Update. This portion of the presentation will include discussion of:
- New Enforcement Activity by OSHA
- Drastic increases in OSHA fines
- Revised Recordkeeping Rules
- How the new rules affect drug testing policies (specifically including post-accident testing)
- OSHA guidance on use of restrooms by transgender employees
Properly establishing mechanisms for reporting and addressing employee injuries
General Update to Illinois employment laws. This portion will include discussion of:
- The Illinois Employee Sick Leave Act
- The Illinois Child Bereavement Act
- Paid sick leave under amendments to the Chicago Minimum Wage Ordinance
