Opening Remarks:

Crystal called the meeting to order @ 11:30 am.

Board Reports:

Membership - Kathy stated we have 59 members.

Treasurer - Crystal stated we are in good standing.

Website - Judie stated it was up to date.

Community Outreach - Carmen provided an update.

Legislative - Sara provided an update on legal events.

Programs - No program next month as no meeting being held.

Presenter:

Membership – Kathy stated we have 48 members.

Treasurer – Sarah – no update.

Website – Judie stated the website is up to date and there are certification opportunities on the website.

Community Outreach – Sandy - No update

Legislative – Sara provided an update on legal events including the election/ICE.

Programs – Lisa stated that next month the topic is Handbooks and Sara Zorich is the presenter.  Additionally, we will have a new location for the next 3 months – Elgin Country Club (2575 Weld Road, Elgin, IL 60124).

Diversity – Susan – No update.

Membership – Kathy stated we currently have 50 members.

Treasurer – Sarah reported the chapter is in good standing.

Website – Judie stated the website is up to date.

Community Outreach –- No update

Legislative – No update.

Programs – Lisa stated that they are working on the 2017 programs and asked for any suggestions to be submitted.  March meeting will be an attorney speaking about immigration under the Trump administration.

Diversity – No update.

Programs – Lisa stated that next month the topic is Workers Compensation Overview with Dennis Powers and March is a Legislative update.
