      2. Future presenters - Ron
         -June still open
         - July – Legal Update
         -Two Scheduled for fall
      3. Membership – Sue - 59 members
         -Build more into our schedule
      4. Community Outreach – Carmen
          -Spoke to Yvonne with Compass solutions staffing – conversations with members       regarding challenges with hiring and staffing
           -Pathways launching career panels – want professionals to volunteer on helping with that
      5. Legislative Update – Keep up to date with CDC and Illinois health services
          -Increased time for people coming back
          -Symptom check
          -Chicago minimum wage raise – anyone that worked in City of Chicago and Paid Sick Leave
          -Does employer have to notify IDES if employee refuses to come back to work even though their job was offered back
             -Unemployment would then be denied
             -Communicate this to the employee before contacting IDES
      6. Social Media update – Sash – periodic updates on linked in and facebook
          -selective on posts
          -Reach out with any questions

            -If you have certain questions, check out LinkedIn page, ask questions, get feedback
            -Continue to look at format for more web meetings
            -Look for additional info from Mike Wong regarding legal update

       -Employment world turned it’s head upside down
       -DOL updating FAQs on CARES Act
        -Caregivers – include babysitters, nannies, au pairs, family members watching your children
         -The reason you don’t have child care is because of COVID-19
        -CARES Act- small businesses loans – need to comply with law – the lender themselves are your gatekeeper
        -Talk with lender to find out what information needed, who qualifies, etc.
        -Make sure all issues are covered so the amount you pay employees can be forgiven
